Matthew Schexnayder, DVM, MS, DACVP (he/him/his)

Dr. Schexnayder is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists and has worked the past several years as a clinical pathologist with IDEXX. He currently serves as the Head of the North American Large Animal and Exotics Clinical Pathology Team, providing diagnostic care across all veterinary species globally. Previously, Dr. Schexnayder excelled as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology for Lincoln Memorial University, where he maintained a streak as Teacher of The Year and ignited his passion for supporting neurodiversity in veterinary settings. Among his academic contributions is a chapter in the recently published textbook Educational Principles and Practice in Veterinary Medicine, in which he focused on understanding and supporting neurodiversity in veterinary education.
