Isabelle graduated from the University of Alfort and performed her internship there. She completed a residency in equine internal medicine at the University of Montreal, and obtained her ACVIM Diplomate status in 2004. Isabelle returned to the University of Alfort in 2001 as an assistant professor. After a short period spent in equine first opinion practice in France, she joined the team at the University of Lyon in 2009 as Assistant Professor of Equine Medicine. She became a diplomate of the ECEIM in 2012 and in 2019 of the ECVECC. Her research interests include equine endocrinology, immune dysregulation and sepsis, and Equine Interstitial Lung Diseases.
