Ana Nobrega is an Equine Internal Medicine resident at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She was born in the United States and raised in Brazil, where she completed her schooling and earned her veterinary degree at the Universidade Estacio de Sa in Rio de Janeiro. After completing her veterinary degree, Ana moved to the United States, where she completed externships at equine practices around the country before officially moving to North Texas to start her internship at Weems & Stephens Equine Hospital. Following her private practice internship, she completed a 2-year internship at the University of Illinois, where she started her MS in Veterinary Clinical Medicine in 2023 and Equine Internal Medicine residency in 2024.
