Dr. Sophie Mainguy-Seers obtained her DVM degree from the Université de Montréal in 2014. She then completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Vermont Large Animal Clinic in 2015. She then enrolled in a combined equine medicine residency and PhD program at the Université de Montréal. Dr. Sophie Mainguy-Seers has been a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) since 2019 and obtained her PhD degree in 2022. She is currently an assistant professor in equine internal medicine at the Université de Montréal. Her main research focus is the study of the pathophysiology and treatment of equine asthma.
