Eva Buschmann, DVM (she/her/hers)

Eva Buschmann graduated in July 2020 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ghent University, with a specialization in equine medicine. After graduation, she started working at the Equine Cardioteam Ghent as a PhD fellow funded by FWO Flanders. During her PhD project, called 'Transcatheter radiofrequency ablation as a new treatment for equine atrial arrhythmias', she investigates the use of intracardiac multiple catheter recording and 3D electro-anatomical mapping to characterize atrial arrhythmias. In addition, a standardized approach for radiofrequency catheter ablation in horses with atrial arrhythmias is developed.
