Presentation Description / Summary: This session will review new data on environmental chemical exposures and the risks of bladder cancer and lymphoma in dogs. We will outline specific questions to ask clients in a dog diagnosed with cancer, and evidence-based prevention advice for bladder cancer and lymphoma, based on the best evidence to date.
Learner Outcomes: 1) Be able to outline to clients the environmental risk factors for bladder cancer and lymphoma in dogs 2) Be able to formulate environmental history questions for dogs diagnosed with various cancers. 3) Be able to communicate the best evidence to date on possible environmental prevention measures for bladder cancer and lymphoma in dogs
