Presentation Description / Summary: Join us for an interactive game of Internal Medicine Jeopardy! Categories will cover each specialty within AIMVT (Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, and Small and Large Animal IM) and ACVIM (all of the above, plus Nutrition) and the weird and wonderful knowledge we’ve acquired over our careers in IM. Questions will be created from the reading and knowledge lists covering each specialty, along with the advanced skills that many VTS-es have mastered. This will be a fun and fast-paced session, with attendees working in teams to provide questions to Jeopardy answers in both “regular” and “double” Jeopardy rounds. Prizes will be awarded to each team, based on final scores. All members of the veterinary team are welcome! Get your teams together for the challenge in Kentucky, or join a team on the fly for 2 hours of facts, trivia, and knowledge.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize interdisciplinary specialty knowledge in veterinary internal medicine
  • Practice providing information in a fast, accurate, and efficient manner, which is beneficial for communication both within the veterinary healthcare team and with clients
  • Understand the value of gamification in veterinary education
