Presentation Description / Summary: This presentation will illustrate the potential of plasma adsorption to extend therapeutic efficacy of extracorporeal blood purification following therapeutic plasma exchange.
Learner Outcomes: Understanding of the opportunities for adjunctive plasma adsorption in extracorporeal blood purification. Illustration of how plasma adsorption can be incorporated into routine plasma exchange procedures on centrifugal or membrane-based treatment platforms.
Learning Objectives:
apply plasma adsorption on membrane or centrifugal TPE platforms.
understand the expanding role of adsorptive technologies in extracorporeal blood purification.
extend the therapeutic options for plasma exchange and enhanced blood purification.
