Presentation Description / Summary: Protein-losing nephropathy is relatively rare in cats compared to dogs, but is associated with a extremely poor prognosis. Earlier identification of these cases and prompt treatment may improve outcomes. In this presentation we will discuss key aspects of clinical presentation that should trigger a concern for the disease, novel diagnostics such as SDS PAGE, and treatment strategies.
