Presentation Description / Summary: From immune-mediated hemolytic anemia to bone marrow disease, from iron deficiency to oxidative injury, internists know the value of blood morphology in the diagnosis and management of complex cases. This interactive lecture revisits that value through the presentation of several clinical cases and their blood films from the perspective of an internist and clinical pathologist pair who also discuss the new technology and future opportunities of automated, point of care blood morphology.
