Presentation Description / Summary: Intervertebral disc disease comes in many different classifications, this talk will explore the differences between these classifications, as well as the treatment options available for these patients. Exploring why and how the type of disc disease will affect the nursing care requirements of the patient in order to provide the best nursing care.
Learner Outcomes: Understanding of how intervertebral disc disease is classified. Be aware of different treatment options available for these patients. Know what is required in order to provide these patients with the best nursing care.
