Presentation Description / Summary: This lecture will follow the case of a 6 year old FS Doberman Pinscher presenting with cerebellar signs. The discussion will include the neurologic exam, differentials, and diagnostics (MRI and laboratory tests) used to achieve a diagnosis of neospora caninum. There will be a review of the pathogenesis of neospora caninum and the associated clinical signs. The discussion will follow the patient through treatment, ongoing testing, and adverse effects associated with treatment.
