Dr. Allyson Berent graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She completed a rotating small animal internship at the University of Minnesota and a residency in small animal internal medicine at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was boarded in internal medicine in 2006. After completing a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in Endourology at Thomas Jefferson University she served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. Since 2009, she holds a staff position at the Animal Medical Center in IR/IE. Her research interests are in minimally invasive therapies focusing on endourology, ureteral disease, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary interventions, and nasopharyngeal stenting.
