Dr Harms is the founder and CEO of VetMaite, an online forum that provides literacy tools for veterinarians on the topic of artificial intelligence. A practicing primary and emergency care veterinarian, speaker and author, she is working to empower practicing vets with the tools to engage with AI technology from an empowered and educated position. Trained in AI governance through the International Association of Privacy Practitioners and appointee to the AVMA Task Force on Emerging Technology and Innovation, she also provides input and advisory services to organizations on the responsible and ethical integration of AI into veterinary medicine.
