Dr. Andrew Bugbee is a graduate of the Texas A&M University CVM and completed his internship and residency at the University of Georgia. He has been on faculty at Purdue University followed by a return to UGA in 2014 where he Co-founded and Directed the UGA Veterinary Diabetes Clinic. In 2023, he joined the faculty of Texas A&M University CVM. He currently serves as the teaching hospital’s Chief Medical Officer and Director of the TAMU Veterinary Diabetic and Endocrine Clinic in addition to being an Associate Clinical Professor and Chief of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bugbee is married to a veterinary radiologist and has 3 children, 2 dogs, and a cat.
