Dr. Amjad Khan is an accomplished epidemiologist and public health expert with extensive experience in infectious disease research and advanced laboratory diagnostics. Currently a Postdoctoral Researcher for infectious diseases at the University of Kentucky, USA, Dr. Khan specializes in disease modeling, molecular epidemiology of infectious diseases, and participation in the development of vaccines for viral pathogens, including Equine Herpesvirus. With over 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals and a proven track record of successful grant writing, he is recognized for his innovative approach to infectious disease surveillance and transmission studies.
Previously, Dr. Khan served as an Assistant Professor of Public Health at multiple esteemed institutions, including King Edward Medical University and the University of Haripur, where he led academic departments, mentored graduate students, and contributed to several high-impact research projects. His international experience includes collaborative work as a Visiting Scientist at the Institute for Disease Modeling in Seattle and consultancy roles at Boston University. Dr. Khan’s work has earned him numerous accolades, including the Young Scientist Award from the Academy of Sciences Malaysia and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
