Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna. He completed a rotating and cardiology specific internship in a private referral hospital in the UK. Ha has then successfully completed a Master of Science by Research at The University of Edinburgh . He is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Bristol.
His research interests include endothelial function, vascular medicine, myxomatous mitral valve disease, and feline cardiomyopathies.
