Michelle Frye, DVM, SM, is a distinguished veterinarian and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine, epidemiology, biotechnology, and diagnostics. She is currently the Co-Founder of Kedi Labs, a company dedicated to revolutionizing pet health care through accurate and affordable at-home testing options for cats and dogs.
Dr. Frye's educational background includes a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science (SM) in Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. This combination of veterinary and public health expertise has shaped her unique perspective in the pet health industry. Throughout her career, Dr. Frye has held several notable positions working in government, clinical practice and industry.
In addition to her professional roles, Dr. Frye is passionate about international public health, spay/neuter access, continuing education, and collaboration with colleagues and serves as the Section Editor for Epidemiology & Statistics for the JAAHA Editorial Review Board at the American Animal Hospital Association in February.
