Alejandra Mondino Vero, DVM, PhD

Dr. Ale Mondino is a Neurology and Neurosurgery Resident at the North Carolina State University (NCSU) College of Veterinary Medicine. Previously, she completed a Neurology Internship at the same institution. She holds a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Universidad de la República (UdelaR) in Uruguay.

Dr. Mondino also completed two postdoctoral fellowships: one at the University of Michigan and another at NCSU, the latter under the mentorship of Dr. Natasha Olby, focusing on canine neuro-aging.

Dr. Mondino has experience as a speaker at national and international courses, Dr. Mondino has published numerous articles in international journals and contributed chapters to scientific books. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer for scientific journals.
