Jessica Garcia, DVM, MS

Dr. Garcia is a Large Animal Medicine Resident through the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Her main area of work is in farm animal care with a special interest in small ruminant, companion pig, and camelid medicine and soft tissue surgery. She completed her Master's degree in Comparative and Experimental Medicine Summer 2024 with a focus on pharmacokinetics of analgesic drugs in goats. Her research interest include farm animal welfare, anti-microbial stewardship, and gastroenterology. Dr. Garcia has taught farm animal lectures and labs to veterinary students, as well as has provided Continuing Education at the local, national, and international level.
