Kayla Neiderfer is currently a third-year medical oncology resident at Oregon State University. After earning her Bachelor’s of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biosciences at the University of Delaware, she moved to the mid-west to attend veterinary school at the University of Missouri. She then completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at VCA Aurora Animal Hospital outside of Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Neiderfer enjoys many aspects of Oncology, particularly client support/communication, cancer biology, and working with families to maintain the human-animal bond in the face of a difficult diagnosis.
