Connie A. Rojas, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at AnimalBiome, where she investigates the gut and oral microbiomes of dogs and cats to advance microbiome-based diagnostics and therapeutics. Her research focuses on the healthy core microbiome, microbiome temporal variability, microbial shifts in cats with periodontal or metabolic disease, and the functional roles of bacteria.
