Veterinary Surgeon and PhD Candidate
Royal Veterinary College
London, England, United Kingdom
I graduated from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 2019, having also completed an intercalated undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. Upon graduation, I worked in a busy emergency care veterinary practice before moving to the Royal Veterinary College, London, UK to teach basic sciences on the veterinary courses. In 2022, I started a clinical PhD, investigating the role that oxidative stress and mitophagy play in the development and progression of feline chronic kidney disease. I divide my time between a geriatric cat research clinic, metabolomics and proteomics analysis and lab work. I have a particular interest in the metabolic changes seen in CKD development and progression.
