Jared Jaffey is a board-certified small animal internist and Associate Professor at the Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. In a professional setting, Dr. Jaffey loves teaching veterinary students, performing research, and seeing patients. His research interests include the following areas hepatobiliary, endocrinology, respiratory tract, infectious diseases, immunologic effects of vitamin D, and several hereditary disorders such as cytochrome b5 reductase deficiency and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. He has > 70 journal article publications and authored book chapters in several reference textbooks including Ettinger’s Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Small Animal Gastroenterology, and Clinical Veterinary Advisor.
