My name is Bradley Whelchel and I was born and raised in Southern California. I went to both undergraduate and veterinary school at the University of California, Davis. I then went on to pursue a small animal rotating internship at Iowa State University, followed by an emergency and critical care internship at North Carolina State University. I am now practicing as one of the cardiology residents at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. My specific interests in cardiology include diet-associated dilated cardiomyopathy, the treatment and management of congestive heart failure, and point of care ultrasound.
