Alyssa Castillo, MD, is a general infectious diseases clinician at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency training and a chief residency year at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She subsequently worked in academic hospital medicine before pursuing infectious diseases subspecialty training at the University of Washington. Alyssa joined the University of Colorado faculty in 2022, where she now serves as the Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship for the University of Colorado Hospital. She is passionate about building collaborative, supportive relationships with clinicians and supporting them to optimally utilize antimicrobials in their daily practice.
