Dr. Catherine Lenox earned her DVM from the University of Missouri. She then completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Colorado State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital and a residency in veterinary nutrition at the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, focused on small animal nutrition. She obtained her board certification in veterinary nutrition in 2011.

Dr. Lenox has experience working in both specialty practice and the pet food industry. She is currently working as Senior Specialist, Technical Publications and Education at the Purina Institute. Dr. Lenox has published on several different topics in veterinary nutrition and recently edited and contributed to the Purina Institute Handbook of Canine and Feline Clinical Nutrition.
