Dr. Peggy Fisher is here to present her research on heartworms and resistance to macrocyclic lactones. This work was done in conjunction with Kathy Keller and Dr. Roger Prichard from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Dr. Fisher has a varied background in veterinary medicine that includes private practice and industry. As a graduate from the University of Missouri-CVM, she is also a diplomate of ABVP (canine/feline) and has graduate degrees in public health and biomedical science.
