Meera Heller is a professor of clinical livestock medicine and surgery at UC Davis. She received her DVM from UC Davis in 2001, then completed an internship at Atlantic Veterinary College followed by a residentcy in Large animal medicine at UC Davis and became board certified in 2005. She completed a PhD in comparative pathology at Davis in 2009. She was a member of the livestock faculty at University of Missouri before returning to Davis in 2014.
