Jenny began working in veterinary medicine in 1994 as a kennel attendant- as a school prep job. After meeting a credentialed veterinary technician, Jenny decided to pursue her RVT at Northwestern State University. Jenny received her RVT in 2001 and her VTS in 2015. Her clinical experience spans three decades inside general practices, emergency hospitals, and academic teaching facilities. Jenny teaches for VSPN, serves as the President for AIMVT (Academy of Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians), and is a content editor for Dog Cancer Answers. Her favorite teaching topics include all cancer topics, chemotherapy safety, technician utilization, and all things radiation therapy. She currently resides in Baton Rouge, La with her stepdaughter, but spends lots of time in Vermont with her boyfriend, a veterinary surgeon and his two daughters.
