Dennis O'Brien, DVM, PhD, DACVIM (Neurology)

Dr. Dennis O’Brien is Professor Emeritus at the University of Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine. After his residency in neurology, he received a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Illinois studying the effects of brain damage on behavior. At MU, he directed the Neurology & Neurosurgery service and the Comparative Neurology Research Program, and he received the Dadd Award for teaching from his peers. He is also recipient of the ACVIM Kirk Award for Professional Excellence.
