Dr. Pinard is a veterinary medical oncologist and clinician scientist in Toronto, as well as an adjunct professor at the University of Guelph, with a research focus on AI-driven computational platforms for clinical biomarkers in comparative oncology. He co-founded ANI.ML Health, an AI technology company dedicated to education and integration of AI and spatial computing to enhance veterinary care. They developed the first veterinary-specific medical language tool called Hachiko. Dr. Pinard is an active member of multiple AI and oncology research groups including the International Immuno-Oncology Biomarker Working Group and is currently sitting as a member of the ACVIM's AI Task Force. He is passionate about advancing responsible AI applications in veterinary and translational medicine.
