Dr. Camille Torres pursued her undergraduate and veterinary education at Colorado State University, earning her DVM in 2001. She began her career in small animal private practice in Albuquerque, N.M., before transitioning to a role in Community Practice at Colorado State University in 2008. Dr. Torres's dedication to continuous learning led her to achieve diplomate status with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (DABVP) in 2011, specializing in canine and feline practice. Her growing interest in preventive care, particularly the role of nutrition in managing obesity, inspired her to further specialize in veterinary nutrition. She completed a residency in veterinary nutrition and became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Nutrition) in 2021.
