Nuances and conventions of the presentation of PK data for manuscript construction, including appropriate measures of central tendency, parameters appropriate to each model, differences in routes of administration will also be covered. After this presentation the audience will be more prepared to review as well as to coordinate a PK study.
Learner Outcomes: After this presentation the audience will be able to: 1. Understand the application and presentation of pharmacokinetic data for veterinary research 2. Understand the presentation and nuances of veterinary pharmacokinetic parameters in the literature 3. Understand the construction and study design for veterinary pharmacokinetic studies
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be familiar with concepts of pharmacokinetic study design.
Upon completion, participants will review pharmacokinetic parameters and the implications of these values for interpretation of pharmacokinetic data.
Upon completion, participants will be aware of nuances in the construction and presentation of pharmacokinetic data.
