Presentation Description / Summary: This session will cover arrhythmia management, including determining when treatment is necessary, what treatment is indicated, and how to best assess treatment results. Management of tachyarrhythmias and bradyarrhythmias will be discussed. Finally, management of refractory arrhythmias will be considered.
Learning Objectives:
Understand critical differences in management of supraventricular vs. ventricular arrhythmias
Improve familiarity with common antiarrhythmic medications
Gain comfort with strategies to approach arrhythmias that are refractory to standard management
