Points East Veterinary Specialty Hospital

Points East Veterinary Specialty Hospital, founded in June 2015, brought veterinary specialty services to Eastern North Carolina. With two boarded surgeons, two boarded criticalists, thirteen emergency clinicians, and an imaging service, Points East VSH serves a vast region from Raleigh to the Coast. The dedicated team is stable, and the days are well staffed. 

This Level III VECCS Certified Facility serves patients 24/7 in a modern, veterinarian-designed new building strategically located to accessible highways. The building was designed for growth, with rooms remaining open to home additional services. 

Without private equity investor involvement, the hospital’s day-to-day management and future vision are veterinarian-led and rooted in team health and professional development. 

With nearby sister practices, Points East VSH is part of a collaborative and supportive network of referring doctors. We enjoy the camaraderie of being a member of the Vets Pets organization, sharing ideas, inventory, and knowledge. Together, the network of hospitals ensures the best care for our patients through servant leadership.
